Description
I needed a simple adapter to connect two 40mm tubes/pipes, and this is a very simple and easy-to-print solution.
- Compared to other solutions, this one fits the 40mm pipe/tube and is easy to print.
- PETG, ABS or ASA is recommended for printing to ensure outdoor usage
- Dimensions of the model: 43.3mm x 50mm. Size can be adjusted in %, but in my view, 2.5cm on each side of the pipe should be more than enough.
If you experience issues with the fitting, you can increase or decrease size by a decimal of 0.1, but in my experience, as the model is now, it is tight enough, sometimes even a bit harder to put on, but it is water, so better a tight fit than sorry afterwards.
