Eddie Van Halen's Ernie Ball Music Man mini guitar

This model is inspired by Eddie Van Halen Ernie Ball music man guitar. My coworkers buddy owns this guitar and as a birthday gift he asked if I could print him one. Thus, here we are. Another fantastic guitar model that is inspired by another guitar legend. I really liked printing this one flat. It allowed me to play with the finish on the face of the guitar. 

I wanted to play around with the different surface finishes on the guitar. Between plates 2, 3 & 4, I have three different finishes to choose from: Plate 2 is printed with Archemedean chords bottom surface layer. This prints with a spiralized finish. This is what is printed in the model I printed. 

Plate 3 prints with an octagram spiral finish. This looks almost like a star pattern. It looks very cool when printed.

And lastly, Plate 4 prints with a monotonic line pattern. Which is just straight lines going across the face of the body. For a more simplistic look.

For best results. I recommend using a High Flow nozzle (I use 0.4mm HF). And a supertack cool build plate from Bambu or Biqu. These are what I recommend for best adhesion and best speed.

I have made a general video describing my many techniques of making these guitar models. I use mostly just super glue, flat file, sand paper and a select size of drill bits to build them. And I use 0.25mm fishing line to add the strings to the model. I go over this in fine detail, just follow the link below for more:
