!!!LED BULBS ONLY!!!

Don't replace the entire fixture—upgrade it!

Whether you are dealing with a shattered glass globe or simply want to refresh an outdated room, this 3D printable ceiling light replacement globe is the perfect solution. Designed with a sleek, minimalist aesthetic, this trendy cover instantly transforms a basic or broken flush-mount ceiling light into a stylish, modern focal point.

It is an incredibly practical, functional print that saves you money and trips to the hardware store while adding a contemporary touch to your home decor. Perfect for bedrooms, hallways, bathrooms, or rental properties needing a quick, renter-friendly facelift!

Key Features:

  • Cost-Effective Repair: Fixes a broken light without needing to hire an electrician or buy a whole new unit.
  • Modern Aesthetic: Clean lines and a smooth, trendy profile that fits seamlessly into modern interior design.
  • Easy Installation: Designed to fit standard flush-mount fixture clips or center screws (adjust scale slightly if needed for your specific hardware).

Print Recommendations

To ensure the safety and longevity of this model, please follow these print settings:

  • Filament Material: PETG, ABS, or ASA are highly recommended. These materials offer superior heat resistance compared to PLA. Even with LED bulbs, enclosed fixtures can get warm, and PLA may warp over time.
  • Color Choice: Translucent white, natural, or clear filaments work best to diffuse the light evenly while hiding the harsh glare of the bare bulbs.
  • Layer Height: 0.16mm to 0.20mm. A slightly lower layer height will help diffuse the light more smoothly and hide layer lines, giving it a manufactured glass look.
  • Wall Loops / Perimeters: 2 to 3 walls. If you want more light to shine through, stick to 2.
  • Infill: 15% Gyroid if the model has thicker walls, though printing it as a solid, thin shell generally yields the best light diffusion.
  • Supports: None required if printed with the wide opening flat on the build plate.
  • Bulb Warning: USE LED BULBS ONLY. Incandescent or halogen bulbs generate too much heat and will melt 3D printed plastics, creating a fire hazard.
