SpaceMouse Desk Mount + Wrist Support

A fixed desk mount and wrist support for the 3Dconnexion SpaceMouse Bluetooth Edition. 

No Supports required.

Designed with the aesthetic of a high-performance automotive component, this mount securely clips around the SpaceMouse body to eliminate unwanted movement during use. The base also includes mounting holes for screws to permanently fasten it to a desk.

I created this for two reasons:

• I wanted my SpaceMouse completely fixed in place with zero movement.
• I wanted a more comfortable and supportive resting position for long CAD sessions.

As an automotive designer, I use my SpaceMouse all day, every day, so ergonomics and feel were just as important as the visual design.

The images shown use DeltaHub’s AirRest pads, though other compatible community designed pads using the same mounting pattern should also fit.

The design works both wired and wireless.

Variants

I personally use my SpaceMouse with my left hand, so the main version is configured for left-hand SpaceMouse use.

A mirrored right-hand version is also available.
