Description
Micropul - solo and two players board game
Micropul is a strategic & tactical tile-laying game in which players are scientists trying to extract precious micropul matter from an energy core.
The game can be played as a solitaire puzzle or competitively.
Each player has a hand of tiles they must play optimally to keep a flow of new tiles coming in and if possible keep aside some tiles in a supply stack that will be worth more points at the end of the game. Drawing new tiles is done by activating catalysts, this part is very tactical.
During the game, groups of micropul of the same colour will get formed. These groups can be claimed and will be worth a lot of points if they are closed at the end of the game. This is the strategic part.
Winning is done by balancing the tactical and strategic part.
The original rules of the game can be downloaded from here: https://neutralbox.com/micropul/
This original 3D design is shared here in agreement with the game designer Jean-François Lassonde.
I want to thank Jean-François for this great game - the first print and play game I even played, about 12 years ago. I enjoyed it solo and playing it in two with my boy, later. On Boardgamegeek I shared a few designs of my own, for print and play, and indeed, as someone on the forum rightly said, this game has more re-designs than components. This is one of my successful designs for the game:

With the 3D printer now available I decided to create a new version, the one shared here.
The game is designed for AMS but can be printed monocolour and the tile painted - they are designed in relief to allow them to be coloured, if printed monochrome (no-AMS).
I hope you will enjoy playing it as much as we did and still do.
