Description

These tools are designed to replace the need for the commercial Aerotech DMS Delay Tool.

I found the exact knob and drill bits Aerotech uses on McMaster-Carr

Knob: (https://www.mcmaster.com/6094K74/

Drill bit: (https://www.mcmaster.com/2896A25/)

I initially designed my delay tool to be exactly like the Aerotech version: double sided with -8 on one side and -4 on the other. Then I thought, why? That arrangement causes confusion and I spend a lot of time explaining it on the field. I realized, just print them single sided and make versions for all the variations from -2 seconds to -10 seconds. Once you start printing, it is not a big deal to just print more. This will hopefully make things easier at the field. And you don't need any washers.

I realize this is a bit of a niche problem and most people buy their delays tools once and they last a lifetime, but, if you need to have multiple delay tools, this works well.

I am working on the RMS versions as well, but we don't see much demand for those.
