Description
Sim Racing Throttle Pedal V3
This is the third iteration of my 3D printed sim racing throttle pedal design.
Versions V1 and V2 are also uploaded on MakerWorld, but V3 is a major redesign with improvements in almost every area.
Main improvements over previous versions:
- Optimized pedal kinematics and movement geometry through multiple motion simulations
- Smoother and more realistic pedal feel during actuation
- Stronger structure and reinforced high-stress areas
- Easier and cleaner assembly process
- Improved part alignment and overall rigidity
- Better integration of the hydraulic damper with different positions for change in strenght.
The pedal uses:
- Hydraulic piston damping
- Dual bearing-supported lever system
- Potentiometer-based input
- Reinforced modular construction
Designed to be sturdy, smooth, and easy to maintain while remaining fully 3D printable.
