I designed this 3D printable tool to quickly check bicycle wheel alignment and rim condition directly on the bike frame, without needing a professional truing stand.

The main feature of this project is the mounting system: the tool attaches in seconds using a simple elastic band, making it easy to fit on different bike frames without scratching or damaging them.

An adjustable screw acts as a reference point to detect lateral wheel wobble while the wheel spins. It is a simple, affordable, and practical solution for bike maintenance and quick wheel adjustments.

Ho progettato questo attrezzo stampabile in 3D per controllare rapidamente la centratura e lo stato del cerchio della bicicletta direttamente sul telaio, senza bisogno di un cavalletto professionale.

Il punto forte del progetto è il sistema di fissaggio: l’attrezzo si monta in pochi secondi utilizzando un semplice elastico, adattandosi facilmente a diversi tipi di telaio senza graffiarli o rovinarli.

Una vite regolabile viene utilizzata come riferimento per verificare eventuali oscillazioni laterali del cerchio durante la rotazione della ruota. È una soluzione semplice, economica e molto pratica per manutenzione e regolazioni rapide.

Come si usa

1. Posiziona l’attrezzo sul telaio

2. Bloccalo con un elastico

3. Regola la distanza della vite dal cerchio

4. Fai ruotare la ruota

5. Controlla le variazioni di distanza e regola i raggi se necessario
