Meet your next tabletop strike force! The complete Owlbear Squad is ready to roll for initiative and steal your players' hit points.
This project is incredibly special to me—it actually started out as a sketch by my 7-year-old son! I took his awesome concept and brought it to life as a fully playable squad of Owlbear miniatures, perfect for your next D&D campaign or any other tabletop game you're running.
Model Dimensions
- Height: 60 to 62mm (2.36 inches)
- Base size: 50mm round base
Note: I originally sized these based on a Kruxigor scale as I imagined them similar in raw strength. But the models are robust enough that you can easily scale them down in your slicer if you need.
Print Settings & Tips I spent a lot of time optimizing these guys specifically for high-detail FDM printing. The geometry is set up so that your supports will pop off nicely without ruining the delicate feather textures or the armor plates. Still, model with open claws will require extra attention, even though none of the claw were reported missing when I removed supports!
- Nozzle: 0.2mm (0.008 inches) is highly recommended to capture all the fine details.
- Layer Height: 0.06mm (0.002 inches) gives them that premium, ultra-smooth finish.
- Walls: 4 perimeters so the thinner parts, like the claws and swords, stay strong.
- Infill: 8% Gyroid.
- Pictures show Bambu PLA Matte Ash Gray which I recommend fo all my minis.
Whatever your feedback is, please rate this make. It will help improving!
