This one was heavily inspired by Karn — the ancient silver golem planeswalker tied to some of the biggest events in MTG lore. I wanted it to feel cold, massive, emotionless, and ancient while still keeping the stylized comic look the series has been building into.
The silver and black contrast felt perfect for capturing that artifact/golem aesthetic, while the glowing eyes help give it that powerful planeswalker presence.
Printed face-down using the Hilbert Curve top surface pattern for a textured comic-style finish. It adds extra print time, but the added surface detail and cleaner overall look are completely worth it for wall display pieces like this.
