Description

I've seen dynamic motorised flip walker toys from years ago and have always wanted one.  So, as part of wanting to move beyond simple parts and into more complex electronic, motorised creations I decided to try and design one myself.  Apart from the 3D printed parts, nearly all of the components can be purchased on Bambu's site.  The only exception are the [2] GT2 110mm timing belts, which I had to get from Amazon (https://amzn.eu/d/0dA0roYD).

The full bill of material is as follows:

  • 110mm GT2 timing belt [Qty: 2] - Not from Bambu
  • M2.5x6 BHCS Machine Screw [Qty: 25]
  • MR106ZZ Bearing [Qty: 4]
  • MR85ZZ Bearing [Qty: 4]
  • 1:48 Dual Axis Gear Reduction [Qty: 1]
  • AAA Battery Case with PH2.0 Connector [Qty: 1]
  • SH1.0 to PH2.0 Power Adapter Board [Qty: 1]
  • 030 Micro DC Motor with SH1.0 Connector [Qty: 1]
