Description
You want to make your BMW E46 Touring a bit sportier by removing the roof rails?
But for that, you need the complete trim strips
No!
It is sufficient to print 4 precisely fitting covers per side!
These fit very tightly and “click” when pressed in.
Additionally, a little glue from behind wouldn't hurt.
To prevent pushing in or water ingress.
Installation is easy and completed in under 30 minutes.
- Loosen 3x Torx 40 screws on each side of the roof rail. These are hidden behind the rubber covers.
- Then pry the clipped trim strip towards the center of the vehicle with a pry tool or similar.
- Now disassemble the roof rail attachment with Torx 30
- Screws can be screwed back into the threads
- Now clip the printed covers into the trim strip and glue them if necessary
- Now the trim strip can be reinstalled on the E46
- DONE :)
