Have you ever felt like your shifters aren't at the exact same height, even if they look straight "by eye"? Pro-Aligner V2 is a dedicated tool for bike mechanics and enthusiasts that eliminates the guesswork and lets you align your hoods with millimeter precision.

🛠️ What's new in V2?

Listening to community feedback, V2 introduces key upgrades to make the tool even better:

  • Central Measurement Pin: Eliminates parallax errors. The pin is now perfectly aligned with the arm's axis, making it much easier to visually assess the contact point on the shifter.
  • Extended Measurement Range: The sliding arm now offers an impressive maximum reach of up to 380 mm from the center of the steerer tube, accommodating even the widest gravel and aero setups.
  • Optimized for 256x256 Printers: Despite the extended reach, all parts have been strategically designed to fit perfectly on standard 256 x 256 mm build plates (ideal for Bambu Lab X1, P1, and A1 series).
  • Reinforced design: Improved arm stiffness prevents the tool from flexing or sagging under its own weight.

✨ Main Features:

  • Universal mounting: Mounts directly to the steerer tube, providing the most stable and accurate measurement base possible.
  • Telescopic adjustment: The sliding arm easily adapts to various handlebar widths, flare angles, and stem lengths.
  • Quick lock: Convenient knobs allow for instant locking of your measurements.
  • The Compass Principle: Rotating the tool around the steerer axis maps out a perfectly symmetrical circle in 3D space, ensuring both shifters are positioned flawlessly.

🖨️ Print Recommendations:

  • Material: PETG (highly recommended for mechanical strength and temperature resistance) or tough PLA+.
  • Layer height: 0.2 mm.
  • Supports: Only required main arm. Profile is prepared to use PLA as a interface layer for PETG object. If you cannot mix filaments, please tune your support settings to your setup.

🔩 Required Hardware (BOM):

  • 2x M4 bolt - 20mm
  • 2x M4 heatinsert - 5mm long
  • 1x M6 countersink screw - can be reused from you steerer cover mount.
