Description
Gridfinity Tray Insert for T50 Staples
This Gridfinity-compatible tray is perfect for holding T50 staples. Well, really it's just a 3 x 2.5 x 6U Gridfinity tray that can store and organize anything that fits, but I designed this specifically with staples in mind to complement the Milwaukee M12 Cable Stapler Insert that I made. These are compatible with any standard Gridfinity layout, but work particularly well with the Milwaukee Packout Organizer where the stapler insert and the staple holders fit together perfectly with no wasted space.
One System, Anywhere
You can use these along with any other Gridfinity-compatible bins or tool inserts to mix and match a custom layout for storing your tools, batteries, and accessories. Using standard size grids means you can move your tools from a Packout organizer to a Packout drawer unit, or to a DeWalt ToughSystem drawer, a Husky rolling tool cabinet, anything really, without having to find new custom-fitted tool inserts each time.

A Useful Tray for Arrow T50 Staples… and anything else that fits
This bin has interior dimensions of 5" x 4" x 1.5" tall. In Gridfinity terms, it is 3 x 2.5 x 6U with a stacking lip. I cut an access slot down the middle so you can reach in and grab items easily.

It's just the right size to fit a couple of packs of Arrow T50 staples in the box, or a bunch of bare staples if you no longer have the box. I used half-size Gridfinity units to optimize the size with as little wasted space as possible.

It is also the perfect size for organizing other things, like snacks.

How do I use these inserts?
Step 1: Set up a Gridfinity-compatible base grid for the tool box or container you want to use these in.
I have created a collection of base grids that fit into various sizes of Milwaukee Packouts.

You can also find or create grids for any other storage system you have, like other sizes of Packouts, DeWalt TStak, ToughSystem, Husky tool drawers, IKEA cabinets, or measure and print a grid for any tool cabinet, drawer, or storage unit.
Step 2: Print bins to hold your tools, batteries, bits, accessories, chargers, etc. Print storage bins for small parts, hand tools, pens and pencils. Move them around and change them up whenever you want. Move things from one storage unit to another. Everything's compatible so everything fits! (As long as the drawer is tall enough.)
For this tray, your drawer or tool cabinet will need a height clearance of a little under 60mm (2 inches) or 6U in Gridfinity height units. If you have 12U, these bins can stack.

You can find a growing collection of Gridfinity-compatible inserts for a variety of tools here on MakerWorld, from myself and many other designers. You can also make your own by capturing pictures of the outlines of your tools, using tools such as ToolTrace.ai. The possibilities are literally endless.
Enjoy!
