Description
This is a case for the new T096 LoRa device from Heltec. It's pretty dang rugged and can withstand some good hits. It is not water proof but could be made to be using some silicone paste.
It features:
- No screws or other tools needed
- Functioning buttons
- USB cutout
- Display Cutout
- Battery ejection cutout
- Battery Pusher tool
- Extended antenna mast (optional)
To assemble:
- Insert the buttons utilizing pliers or forceps (or your fingers if they are small enough)
- Assemble the top of your choice with your antenna (decently intuitive)
- Connect the antenna and 3000mah battery to the T096
- While holding the body screen hole down, slide the T096 in first, then let the battery slide in after
- This allows for the buttons to stay put and wires to seat themselves in the gap
- Press down as far as you can to ensure the buttons do not fall out
- Use the top assembly to press the rest of the internals flush with the bottom of the body
To disassemble:
- De-lid the top assembly slightly
- Utilizing the battery pusher, insert into the battery ejection cutout at the bottom of the body
- Push in, this should push the T096 and battery out enough to remove the internals by hand.
