London Cookie/Clay Cutters
Print Profile(1)

Description
Cookie or clay cutters with stamps in a London theme. Using a non-spread cookie recipe (without baking powder) is a must, or you will lose the details.
The image provided is of version 1. I've since updated the stamps a bit (inverted the union jack, corrected height error on buckingham palace). The files are the new and improved versions.
Here is my recipe for those who don't have their own:
200 g plain flour
1 egg yolk
75 g granulated sugar
8 g vanilla sugar or 1ts vanilla extract
125 g unsalted butter, cubed
pinch of salt
1 tbs cold water
Mix the flour, sugar, vanilla, butter and egg yolk until it's a crumbly mess. Add the water, mix until too firm to mix by machine. Knead until smooth. Cover with foil and let rest in the fridge for half an hour. Roll out to 6mm thickness. Make the cookies. Bake in a preheated oven 175 degrees Celsius until the edges are goldenbrown. For my oven, that's 12 min.
