Description

Cyclone Blossom is a 3D printed kinetic wind sculpture featuring two distinct rotor assemblies

mounted on a central fuselage tube. The front assembly is a twisted petal/flame rotor; the rear is

a spoked mandala-style pinwheel. The sculpture is mounted on a mast and rotates freely to

orient itself into the wind.

Really like this design. However, as I am going over the instructions and part list, I wonder if the hardware sizes have been corrected for this particular scale of the model? The M8 threading seems too large, but it may just be my misunderstanding the assembly. In addition, the pinwheels seem to have an integrated cap, rather than the separate ones indicated in the drawings.

You are quite correct. The file 01_Wind PinWheel.3mf does contain the cap which it shouldn't. My apologies, I will fix that now. Are you referring to the original model or the scaled down version which I didn't do. I can't imagine scaling down the model in general will work seeing that there are purchased parts. I did create this design for my Prusa XL (don't tell Bambu ) and thought I would enter it the contest. There are a couple of parts that are too large for any Bambu lab printers, sorry.
