Description

DISCLAIMER :

This model is only for display and educational purposes. It does not contain any explosives and can not be modified into doing so. This a display model and can not be modified to be used as a real projectile!!

Description :

This is a replica of a NATO mortar round , more exactly the Austrian 60mm HE 80 ( a High-Explosive-Fragmentation ; HE-Frag ), a fin-stabilised mortar bomb also manufactured in Bulgaria. The HE 80 mortar-bomb is of a conventional tear-drop design with a cast-steel body. It also has replica DM 111 A5 fuze. All the pieces were designed with accurate dimensions in mind.

I made this model about 1 year ago, but only got around to posting it now. I hope you like it :) . It works great as a decoration piece and can also be used as a secret storage spot given the fact that it is hollow inside.

Notes :

The threads should work just fine because I tried adjusting the tolerances as much as I could. Be careful when screwing in the fins part with the main body as it may break if screwed on too tight.
