Wera Gridfinity Screwdriver Module Insert
Print Profile(1)

Description
These are Gridfinity containers for the well-known and popular Wera screwdrivers. The containers are designed to hold the yellow hex screwdrivers. The normal green ones also fit in. In the print profile, there are also some profiles for the VDE 1000V screwdrivers. The 1000V screwdrivers fit perfectly there. However, since I don't have more than what is stored in the print profile, you will either have to tell me the dimensions or try it out. Based on experience, the handles fit 100% however it is possible that the shaft does not fit 100% due to the insulation. The containers are halved on both sides at the bottom, providing maximum flexibility on the Gridfinity grid. Furthermore, there are 6mm*2mm magnet holes.
I have divided the individual print plates into individual handle sizes. Here sizes 1-5. Please just measure the respective handle lengths.
- Micro
- Handle 1 = 82mm
- Handle 2 = 98mm
- Handle 3 = 107mm
- Handle 4 = 112mm
- Handle 5 = 117mm
Furthermore, I have added lettering to the container that can be individually customized by you. Please proceed as follows:
First, click on “Object” (red marker) in the left object tree. Afterwards, the individual print plates will appear. These are composed as follows:
- Container -→ the actual container itself, here just adjust the color
- Size -→ here the labeling is adjusted
- if applicable 1000V --→ here the 1000V lettering can be adjusted
- Layers -→ I printed the containers in 2 colors depending on the screwdriver color. Here the desired color can be set. If this is not desired, simply delete it or give the layer the same color as the container
If you do not have 1000V screwdrivers, you can still use the containers if you have the appropriate size. Otherwise, just delete the 1000V lettering.

To change the lettering, simply right-click on “Size” and the following menu will appear:

Afterwards, select “Edit text” and type in the desired size:

Unfortunately, the text shifts a bit afterwards, which must be a bug in the slicer. But no problem. In the object tree, select “Size” again with the left mouse button and click on the move tool at the top. Here, definitely click on "Switch object coordinates".

For a better overview, I have written down the values for the X, Y, and Z axes for the individual print plates in a table format. The second number after the handle is the corresponding shaft length. This is usually written on every screwdriver.
| Screwdriver | x-axis | Y-axis | Z-axis |
| Micro | 47 | -4,7 | 13,7 |
| Handle1_85_1000V | 0 | 88 | 13,7 |
| Handle1_100 | 0 | 98,5 | 13,7 |
| Handle2_80 | 0 | 98,5 | 13,7 |
| Handle2_80_1000V | 0 | 98,5 | 13,7 |
| Handle2_100 | 0 | 108,5 | 13,7 |
| Handle2_125 | 0 | 118,5 | 13,7 |
| Handle2_300 | 0 | 203 | 13,7 |
| Handle3_100 | 0 | 108,5 | 13,7 |
| Handle3_100_1000V | 0 | 108,5 | 13,7 |
| Handle3_125 | 0 | 120 | 13,7 |
| Handle3_150 | 0 | 141 | 13,7 |
| Handle4_150 | 0 | 141 | 13,7 |
| Handle5_200 | 162 | 0 | 13,7 |
Since the containers are not all the same length, I have also created small gap fillers so that you do not look at an empty grid. One gap filler also has the Wera emblem, but it can also be deleted if desired.
If you have screwdrivers that are not included, just let me know and I will create more containers.
If you like my work, please leave a like, a comment, and a boost. Even if something doesn't fit, just contact me, because there is a solution for everything. Do you have ideas for a printed part, but cannot operate a CAD program yourself, let me know and I will check the feasibility.
