Description

This is a simple clip on tuner mount for the TC Electronic Unitune/Polytune series of tuners.

These mount on the hooks that are used to adjust the banjo head tension.

The mastertone version is for round hooks used on common one piece flange banjos. I'm pretty sure the banjo I've been testing on is using Prucha hardware.

The IT17 version is for the “cobra” style hooks and pot diameter use on the Gold Tone IT17 banjo.

I print theses in PLA-CF now, and the Mastertone version will be a little tight, but normal in regular PLA. When removing the clip from the hooks, if it's very tight, you may want to pry it up with something plastic, rather than pull on the ($) tuner itself.

Use a torx screwdriver to remove the factory headstock clip, and replace with this printed clip, re-using the factory screw and nut. The holes for the factory hardware is tight, and depending on the filament you use may need force to press them in.
