Description
The original smoke adapter unfortuantly doesn’t work with 4” ducting. I needed it to work with 4” ducting so I didn’t have to use any reducers.
I took the original adapter and modeled it to fit a 4” duct, still giving you the capability of using the stock metal tube and funnel.
I increased the walls and a few settings to make it stronger. Definitely not needed, but I’d rather have it more rigid. In the picture provided, I had some issues with the filament, but it’s not impacting the actual usability of the adapater.
To install, replace the stock adapater with the 3d printed model. The metal tube is a loose fit, so wrap the end in a few layers of tape or something to get a snug fit. I didn’t want it too tight as I had to remove it soon to swap out the motherboard.
