Description

UPDATE 2026/05/19: Added an “XL” version that supports up to Marauder 2 Series! (this version will not have alignment cutout for the ArkPro/Arkfeld)

I love my ArkPro, and it's my daily carry.  But I found it not terribly useful in situations where our power goes out (we live in rural Thailand) and we're doing just normal activities (eating, playing games, etc).  So I decided to turn it into a LAMP!

This design is intended to make the ArkPro look like it's the body of the lamp, though it's actually held up by steel rods (or printed equivalents).

You can certainly use other flashlights with this, but you may want to adjust rod height so you don't blind yourself with a straight shot at the beam.

The following options are available:

  • Stands:
    • Base Type:
      1. MCC1 Charger: Prints the base with an open hole to attach the MCC1 charger and route cable underneath. Glue may be recommended
      2. Magnetic (no charger): Uses a 25x6mm Magnet inserted mid-print to stabilize the flashlight.
    • Rod Type:
      1. 2x 5mm rods (I like this as it keeps the shade from swiveling)
      2. 1x 8mm rod (this option has been deprecated in favor of 2x 5mm only)
  • Shades:
    • Open Top: Projects the Olight logo on the ceiling (if fixed properly, and depending on ceiling height)
    • Closed Top: The top of the shade will diffuse glow (available with or without hidden logo).
    • Banker Shade: wider and designed to be printed with 2 colors (white inside, then preferred color outside).

very cool little gadget! the arkfield fits perfectly and charges without issue - the light stands perpendicular to the base and lights the shade well. the baton 2 doesn't quite fit in the base - when seated it sits slightly off square to the base which points the light into the side of the shade. I held the charger in place with a piece of scotch tape, this works well enough to allow the charger to float just a little for either light to charge. suggestion for improvement - add a cutout to the back of the charger notch so the charging indicator light is visible

Cool color scheme! I see the problem, though. This was designed for the new MCC1 charger, not the former MCC1AL (which is ~2mm smaller in diameter). It's not really an issue specific to that baton, just that the wider base of the Arkfeld helps cover up the issue. Give me a few minutes and I'll have an insert you can use

MCC1AL adapter is live on a new [EXTRAS] plate in the main print profile. It's a tight fit, but it will stay put.

Great Print! Nice design- impressive!! I used the printed rods- and printed all three lengths to use with my other Olights. The Arkpro and Baton Pro 3 all fit and function wonderfully! Again- great design and thanks for sharing on the FB Olight group.

Zombie isn't usually my thing, but that's an awesome paint job you put on it. I feel like people might want to get their hands on that customization!

did you use any supports on the shade?

The original (archive) version did need support, but the ones in the newest file print fine without it.

Recommendations for where to buy the rods and magnets? Having a hard time finding the right diameter and length for the rods. Are the printed bars options for the steel rods?

Any 5mm rod should actually do. It will be hard to find perfectly at that length, so you could go longer or cut it yourself (I cut mine from a 1m length). Yes, the printed options in the profile would be in place of the steel rods. The magnet will be a 25x3mm

I printed the rods- they look good and printed well. I printed all three lengths for various flashlights.
