Plato's Allegory of the Cave: Math/Physics Edition

Description
Our physics teacher made a comment to me about liberating physics and mathematics are, as they work to bring down the veil of ignorance shrouding our mind. This reminded me of Plato's Allegory of the Cave, so I designed this version for him. I realize the original metaphor works well in this case, as the shadows can represent movements in our world that are governed by invisible laws, the actual objects, but I enjoy this rendition all the same as it hints at the infinity of knowledge.
In the smallest shackle there is a dot, representative of a 0 - dimentional person. The line held by the two shackles represents a 1 - dimentional person, and the back of the person we see is the 2 - dimentional person. The observer is the 3 - dimentional person, metaphorically ‘blind’ to the infinite worlds behind them, as they are stuck watched their 2 - dimentional perception of the world pass them by.
