Description

Check out my new models from Fuzzy Animals series:

Wolf

-------------------------------------------------

This is the penguin figurine from my Fuzzy Animals series. They can be printed without AMS. If you AMS, there is a print by object profile for fast printing. You need to super glue in the inner body, eyes, beak and feet. The model's left eye and left foot is marked with an “L” and its right eye and right foot is marked with a “T”. They are quite small so be careful. I would recommend applying the glue to the slots, not the parts since that's easier.

The profile settings are carefully tuned, do not change them, as this may cause issues. Allow the plate to cool fully before removing parts. This helps brims and other supports come off much more cleanly.

Figurines are roughly 60mm in height not including the ears. They come with an optional stand. They have a connector at the bottom for connecting to the stand. You can optionally use them with ⌀6 × 2mm magnets for connecting to metal surfaces, or other magnetic stands.

All left side parts (model's left) are marked with an “L”, all right side parts (model's right) are marked with a “T”.

Here are your options for the connector and its dimensions in case you want to create your own stand:

Mount Option 1: Leave the connector as is to use with non-magnetized stands.

Mount Option 2: Super glue three ⌀6 × 2mm magnets together. Then glue them to the slot.

Connector Dimensions: 6.3mm wide, 6.4mm deep octagon with 0.4mm side fillet, and 0.4mm entry chamfer.

Here are your options for the stand:

Connector Option 1: Apply super glue to the bottom of the pin, apply super glue to the pin slot and insert the pin.

@user_887082287 Glad you like it. The texture surface is called "fuzzy skin". I would recommend watching some tutorial videos about it. The printer essentially "vibrates" the nozzle in a predefined pseudo-random way in X & Y direction to create the texture. I'm manually painting the sections I want fuzzy skin on. My specific settings of fuzzy skin are explained in the description of all my profiles. Here they are: - Layer height: 0.12mm - Fuzzy skin point distance: 0.25mm - Fuzzy skin thickness: 0.5mm All of these settings will affect the resulting look.

I love these designs! is there any chance you will be doing a unicorn or dinosaur? I am trying to make the favorite animals of great-nieces and a great nephew. 😊 Boosting you because the cat came out SO great!

@bigdumptruck Glad to see that. I tried dinosaur, will probably make it if I can get the final shape I want. Unicorn is a bit harder, all the fuzzy animals have a large head, pill-shaped eyes etc. Horse/unicorn doesn’t fit that shape very well but I’m trying. That being said, you’ll need to wait multiple weeks for either of them ti arrive. I have 6 models ready to be uploaded already (I only show a couple in advance since people ask when they are coming 😄). I upload one each week.
