🛠️ What’s New in V2?
I’ve addressed the "growing pains" of the first version to create a rock-solid tool:
- Reinforced Durability: The walls have been thickened across the entire model for maximum rigidity.
- New Central Stabilizer: A brand-new middle console has been added to significantly strengthen the frame.
- Note: To ensure an easy, support-free print, this part is printed separately and simply secured inside using a drop of glue or double-sided tape.
- Snap-Proof Pins: We’ve completely redesigned the pin orientation. They are now printed in a position that eliminates the risk of snapping along layer lines. We also tweaked their dimensions for a much smoother, effortless fit.
- Integrated Crank Handle: No need to look for extra files—the winding crank is now a standard part of the main print set.
- Legacy Support: Already printed V1? No problem! I’ve included an Upgrade Kit in the files, so you can bring your original winder up to the V2 standard without reprinting everything.
