🔌 The Third Arm for Cable Assembly
Whoever has pinned and assembled MIL-DTL-38999 circular connectors knows the problem: you actually need three hands. The connector must not rotate when inserting contacts, laying the shielding, or during final assembly.
This specially developed holder is the perfect solution for the D38999/26ZC35PN (Shell Size 13 / Normal Keying). It fixes the connector precisely and absolutely torsion-free using the integrated grooves.
💡 Main Application & Highlights
- Main Application: This holder is primarily designed to securely hold the connector housing during the entire assembly process and then serve as an absolutely torsion-free counter-bearing to tighten the backshell to the specified torque.
- Precise Torsion Resistance: The internal geometry precisely engages with the connector's keying (Keying N), ensuring nothing slips even under high force.
- Maximum Workplace Flexibility:
- Table Mounting: The holder is designed so that it can be permanently and stably screwed to a tabletop or mounting board with two M6 screws through the two diagonal holes.
- Bench Vice: Alternatively, the solid, rectangular base can also be clamped securely and excellently in any workshop bench vice.

- Support: The model can usually be printed without support structures if it lies flat on the build plate.
