Bring a classic coopered barrel aesthetic to your prints with this wood-grain style planter. The model is designed with individual “stave” segments and bands to mimic real barrel construction while remaining efficient to print.
The exterior features subtle vertical grain detailing to catch light and enhance realism, especially with matte or silk PLA. Two band channels wrap the body to replicate metal hoops—these print as separate features and require supports to maintain clean overhangs and sharp edges.
The geometry tapers slightly from top to bottom for a stable footprint and a visually accurate barrel profile. Suitable for small houseplants, succulents, or decorative use. For live plants, consider scaling to fit a nursery pot or adding a liner.

* Supports required for the bands (tree supports recommended for cleaner removal)
* No supports needed for the main body
* Layer height: 0.16–0.2 mm works well for preserving grain detail
* Works well with brown, wood-fill, or dual-tone filaments
* Optional: print bands in a contrasting color for a more realistic look
