Description

I created this dual input for the X2D printer to facilitate the use of both nozzles and to be able to print with PLA support.
To use external spools, you need to disconnect the "filament track switch," so you need to use external spools on both nozzles for loading.
With this accessory, you only need to disconnect the filament track switch.
Hoping it can be used as a monitor in the future.
Printing is very simple. The project is missing the mounting plate, which I've attached a link to download.

IMPORTANT: Create a chamfer on the tube as shown in the attached image.
Fittings are easy to find.

For locking you need 2 M4x 16 mm cylindrical head screws and 2 M4 nuts

Have fun

I am from an Italian company but any with a 1/8 thread for 4mm tubing will do

Would it be possible to add a new stand that clamps a single splitter as I can see a use case for just one connection into the left nozzle.

the need for a double spool holder arises from the need to use external TPU and external PLA because you delete what doesn't interest you otherwise if one is enough for you in the main one you can find many to download
