This project was born from a very simple need: to have a small surface always at hand, without having to add furniture, shelves, or external supports.
The Clip-On Utility Tray is a storage tray designed to be mounted on the IKEA HEKTAR 3-spotlight floor lamp, using the lamp's vertical tube as an attachment point.
It is useful as a small holder for:
- smartphones
- power banks
- remote controls
- keys
- headphones
- charging cables
- small accessories
- contents of pockets
The raised edge helps keep items inside the tray, preventing them from easily sliding off. The collar/clamp fastening system allows the support to be locked around the lamp's tube in a simple and functional way.
Although the model was created for the IKEA HEKTAR Floor Lamp with 3 spotlights, it can also be adapted to other tubes or poles by modifying the model's scale or adjusting the collar dimensions.
It is a practical accessory for the bedroom, living room, study, reading nook, gaming station, workshop, or hobby area.

- Ensure the tray is stable before placing heavy objects.
