Aruba AP5xx Wall Box Mount + Combo Versions

3D printed wall mount for the Aruba 5x series access points (555, 535, etc.). This design attaches directly over standard US electrical wall plates (both Decora and standard), using the existing screw holes for a secure, clean installation — no new drywall anchors needed.

INCLUDED FILES:

- Aruba 5x Mount Decora Wall Plate – for Decora-style wall plates (hole distance 3.812in / 96.8mm)

- Aruba 5x Mount Standard Wall Plate – for standard wall plates (hole distance 3.28in / 83.3mm)

- Aruba 5x Mount Combined (Decora + Standard) – universal version for when you're unsure which wall plate you have

INSTALLATION:

- Remove the wall plate screw covers (if present) from the Decora or standard wall plate

- Pass the Ethernet cable through the cable opening in the back of the mount

- Place the 3D printed mount over the wall plate, aligning the screw holes

- Secure the mount by tightening the wall plate screws – these hold both the plate and the mount

- Attach the Aruba AP to the mount using its built-in mounting rail and security pin

PRINT SETTINGS:

- Three print profiles are included: PET-G, ABS, and ASA.

- Material: Print with PET-G or better — heat builds up behind the AP and PLA can soften over time.

- ABS and ASA are most recommended as they can withstand the long-term heat exposure and are far less prone to deformation.

- Infill: 30-40% for extra strength

- Walls: 4

- Supports: Not required

- Orientation: Print vertical on the build plate

- Color: Printed in black (matches the AP) — or your choice
