Description

This is a cupholder/tray for a fishing seat post. The diameter for mounting is 1.8"/45.5mm with a slot to overcome the retention pin on some posts. I used a hose clamp to compress the tray onto the seat post. Along with the cupholder and tray it also has holes for hanging hooks as well as drainage holes for any water that may accumulate. I will be designing similar items such as a dedicated cup holder and dedicated tray for more conservative prints. The boat I used them for is a Ranger Bass Boat.

I tried it out today, it was too small for my seat post, I tried sanding down the inside and went to force it on and it broke. I did the math and scaled it up to 107.2% and printing it again 👌

Support Issue:after 3 failed prints I gave up!

What build plate are you using. I get the best support adhesion with a smooth pei, textured doesn't work well for me.
