Alucard's Shield - Castlevania

Here's Alucard's shield from Castlevania!

The base of the shield is designed in SOLIDWORKS, while the head and feet of the lion is generated through a reference image using Bambu's tool

The size is 960x360mm and no extra material is required

You will find a total of 12 parts to be glued together, using the 3D-printed dowels for guide:

The face of the Lion is split in two parts -→ There is a bit of vertical tolerance for the placement of this part, so adjust it to preference, just make sure that the feet will fit (pun intended).

Important: For ease of print, I flattened the feet: the shield is slightly curved, so it will be necessary to head bend them, just a little bit :)

On the back you will find four ovals where you can either screw-in or glue your arm support (I used a simple elastic band)

Important 2: Make sure your bed adhesion is on point, warping is your biggest enemy with these large props.

I used a simple spray primer and acrylics for the finished result.
