Description

Boost Me (for free)

This bushing is designed to help lift the front wheel of a Yamaha FZ6 off the ground using an ordinary service stand together with the bike’s standard main stand, without damaging the fork.

Printed in PETG 0,20mm layer + 6 perimetres and 25% Infill, it works well. For even greater durability, ABS or ASA can be used. I do not recommend PLA.

First plate contains two pieces, second plate contains one in case you just need a replacement.

The service stand stud is 13 mm long and 8 mm in diameter. The bushing fully covers it with a 14 mm depth, leaving 1 mm of reserve.

Safety warning:
Always secure the bike properly before lifting. Make sure there is no risk of the motorcycle falling over. Lifting a motorcycle is hazardous, and you proceed at your own risk. Assistance from another person is strongly recommended.

Instructions:

  1. Safely secure the bike and ask another person to assist you.
  2. Place the bike on its main stand.
  3. Insert the bushings into the bottom of the fork.
  4. Carefully position the service stand studs into the bushings.
  5. Slowly lift the front of the bike.

If there will be demand, I will prepare bushings also for other bikes/forks. This was primarily for my private use.
