Description
This is a Japanese Ofuda.
Also know as a protective amulet or Talisman from the Golden Pavilion in Kyoto.
It is given for visitors as an entry ticket or can be purchased for protection and good luck.
In Japan, these paper amulets are meant to be posted on a wall or near an entrance inside the home.
Usually higher up then the eye level, to act as an spiritual “shield” and to bring luck to the inhabitants and to keep the household safe.
