Description

A rugged, kid-friendly 3D printable diabetes kit designed to keep everything together, protected, and easy to access. Built from real daily use, this case is meant to take the stress out of “Did we pack everything?”

This case should fit any shoulder strap. If you don't have one laying around - search for Shoulder Strap  55 inch Universal Replacement Laptop Shoulder Strap, www.amazon.com/s?k=shoulder+strap+for+Chromebook

Why this exists

If you’re a parent, you already know the routine:

  • Double-checking supplies before leaving the house
  • Digging through a backpack to find a meter or strip
  • Worrying something got crushed, lost, or left behind
  • Wanting your kid to feel confident carrying their own kit

This case is built to reduce that friction. It gives kids a single, reliable place for everything they need. Open it, and it’s all right there. No guessing, no digging. It also helps kids build independence. Over time, they learn:

  • where everything goes
  • how to check their own kit
  • how to be ready without needing constant reminders

What fits inside

Designed around a typical daily setup:

  • Glucose meter (Contour Next EZ size class)
  • Test strip container
  • Lancet device + lancets
  • ReliOn Glucose Tablets
  • Insulin pen (e.g., Humalog Junior KwikPen size)
  • Pen needles
  • Alcohol prep pads ("hidden" compartment under glucose meter)
  • Emergency glucagon (Baqsimi nasal)
  • Small pill compartment (built-in)

Everything has a place. When something’s missing, it’s obvious.
