Quick Installation
Designed to be installed in seconds. Uses a standard M3 screw to secure the hinge. If no screw is available, a short piece of filament (PLA or similar) can be used as a pin.

Integrated Hinge System
The hinge serves two purposes: it secures the cage and also functions as a compact handle for improved grip during filming.

DJI Mic Support
Side mounting area allows you to attach and hold a microphone such as the DJI Mic, enabling a lightweight recording setup.

Button Protection
The structure adds protection around the main button area without obstructing usability.

Lightweight and Practical
Designed as a daily-use accessory with a focus on simplicity rather than over-engineering.

Installation

Insert an M3 screw to secure the hinge.
Alternatively, use a small piece of filament as a hinge pin.
Once assembled, the cage clips into place and is ready to use.

Design Notes

This design prioritizes functionality and speed of use over complex features. The hinge mechanism was intentionally kept simple to reduce parts and improve reliability.

A future version is already prototyped and will include:

• Integrated tripod mount
• Compatibility with suction mounts

The current version remains the most efficient for quick setups and everyday handling.
