I like the idea, but I don't think it should be printed like this, should it

I think I need to print it slightly bigger... The filament didn't run through the unions.. Edit: I didnt read the "!Two small pieces of wire are required for the hinge assembly." part... my mistake

front cover split as soon as it came off the plate. It does not stay together. Will have to print another back piece to use this… Did not change any settings, just printed as it was.

honestly I don't know why it works for some people and not others I'm new to printing and 3D creation my model prints well every time and I've had a lot of 5-star ratings so I think printing works for most people I don't understand why it's different for some what printer do you have and what material did you print with do you have the AMS

I have the A1 with the AMS lite. it looked like it was going to print fine, then when I picked it up I noticed that ot was not fully attached and came right apart. it is a great design, but I think the separation line is too deep. I’m not sure.

you should build a stencil to lay over the pages and we can draw lines nice and easy and turn it into a journal

Can the regular filament be used for the wire in here? I've seen other notebook models using the filament as wire, and I think that is clever way to do it. The design looks cool, and I'd like to print it, but I would very much appreciate confirmation regarding the wire thing.

the filament doesn't fit in here, in order to have a stronger and smaller mecanism, allowing you to have more flat surface to write

I've printed one for my daughter, turned out great! I used purge lines instead of wire because it was what I had in hand and it seems to work suprisingly well 😂 About the issue of separating parts, you could try to play around with the beam interlocking properties

Love it. I really want to brainstorm a latch or something that locks into place to replace the rubber band. 🤔

Love the design, any chance you can make it expandable? It would be great if there were extra hinge pieces that could be added as you need. This could then expand to hold more pages. would be brilliant as an A5 expandable binder...
