THE MODEL :
Transform your wall into a master gallery with this refined oval Baroque wall frame. This model stands out with its intertwined scrolls and chiseled patterns that capture 17th-century opulence. It is the perfect setting for botanical illustrations, classic portraits, or decorative mirrors. The matte black finish provides a noble yet contemporary look, perfect for creating a striking contrast in a chic interior.
Proven print settings :
- Material : Matte Black PLA.
- Infill : 5% (ideal for keeping the piece lightweight for wall mounting); can be increased up to 15% for improved structural rigidity.
- Nozzle : 0.4 mm.
Maker's Tip : This frame looks stunning when surrounded by simpler gold or silver frames. The matte black breaks the monotony and draws the eye to the central piece, creating a museum-worthy wall composition.
INFORMATION:
A common question is: why do these prints require supports when they could be printed lying flat?
For my designs, I deliberately choose to print them standing upright rather than flat, in order to achieve the best possible level of detail. I prioritize visual quality over saving a few grams of filament.
Of course, you are free to change the print orientation in your slicer if you prefer.
