Want more BANSKY work??  BOOST THIS MODEL so his art get's more exposure, and I'll make more!!! : )

Banksy’s "Flag Head" London Statue

5/6/26: Because y'all asked!!! I added the official base that BANKSY designed. so there are 4 options now:

  1. Man with flag and no base (tough to balance but it will I promise)
  2. Man with flag on a small round base for balance
  3. Just the official base at the proper scale to glue on the man from plate 1
  4. The man flag and base combined into one, like the full BANKSY piece

A faceless march toward the edge: The latest piece from the world's most elusive artist.

5/4/26: Added base for stability

The Art & The Message

This model is a recreation of the provocative sculpture that mysteriously appeared in Waterloo Place, London, in early 2026. This work marks a significant shift for Banksy, moving from his iconic stencil murals into the realm of three-dimensional public monuments.

The piece features a man in a corporate suit, marching with a blind, determined confidence while a massive flag billows back to completely envelop his head. By placing this "anti-monument" near heroic statues of King Edward VII and Florence Nightingale, Banksy creates a stinging critique of blind nationalism and political redirection. Like his previous masterpieces—such as "Girl with Balloon", the shredding "Love is in the Bin", the satirical "The Drinker", and the searing "Napalm"—this work forces the viewer to question the symbols we follow and where, exactly, they are leading us. In this case, the figure is proudly stepping off a plinth into thin air, a stark metaphor for a society courting disaster through willful ignorance.

Detailed Description

The model captures every detail of the London installation, from the crisp lines of the business suit to the organic, chaotic folds of the fabric blinding the subject. It is designed to be printed with high fidelity to ensure the social commentary remains the focal point of the piece.

Functional Use

This is a high-concept art piece designed for display. It serves as a perfect desk companion for those who appreciate political satire, street art history, or contemporary sculpture.

Filament Recommendation

To truly honor the "fiberglass and stone" aesthetic of the original London street placement, I highly recommend using SUNLU Marble PLA. It provides a beautiful, matte, stone-like texture that makes the final print look like a hand-carved gallery piece.

Assembly & Post-Processing

Because of the intricate nature of the billowing flag, this model may require assembly depending on your scale. To ensure the flag remains securely attached to the figure's face and hands without visible seams, I recommend ARKA KRAFTPROTZ UNIVERSAL Superglue. It’s the only professional-grade adhesive I use to ensure my art stays together permanently.

Remix Ideas & Keywords

  • Flag Customization: Use the flag as a canvas for your own messages or logos (Remesh with #PoliticalArt).
  • Base Swap: Mount the figure on a different architectural "edge" to change the context of his fall (#Diorama).
  • Keywords: Banksy, Street Art, London Sculpture, Political Satire, Waterloo Place, Modern Art, Suit and Tie, Blind Patriotism, Activism.

But it's missing the plinth, which is a vital part of the art, showing the character is about to step of the edge of the precipice.

not wrong! My interpretation was the blindness of him, But you’re 100% right! I did put a round base under him if you open the .3mf, does that count??? : )

Thanks for the nice model! As a flagpole, just melt or glue some of the filament onto it :)

I LIKE THAT!!!! I tired to get the pole in, but it kept failing at that scale. I also tried extending it to the floor, but same problem. This is an AMAZING solution!!!! TYTYTYT!!! I love German Engineering!!! : )

I suppose a hole could be put there, if there isn't one, for the filament to go into. :-)

Thanks for this model! I also used a straightened piece of filament to complete the flagpole.

very nice print! the supports are a bit tricky just because the flag, by necessity, is a bit fragile but that’s okay
