Do you often have cups in the fridge (e.g., large yogurt, cream, or quark containers) that only have a loose aluminum foil after opening? This precisely engineered lid is the solution! It ensures that your food stays fresh longer, doesn't absorb odors, and nothing spills in the fridge.
📐 Technical Details / Dimensions
This lid was specifically designed for cups with a wide rim:
- Outer Diameter: 125 mm
- Inner Diameter (Receiving): 123 mm
- Fit: With a dimension of 123.5 mm (outer edge of the lip), the lid sits firmly and securely on the cup rim without easily slipping.
🚀 Print Recommendations
To achieve the best results and long durability, I recommend the following settings:
- Material: * PETG: Ideal, as it is more temperature-resistant than PLA and possesses a certain flexibility.
- TPU: If you want a rubber-like, almost airtight seal.
- Wall Lines: 3 (for optimal rim stability)
- Infill: 15% (Gyroid or Grid)
- Layer Height: 0.2 mm is completely sufficient.
- Support: Not required!
🧼 Important Note on Food Safety
Due to their design, 3D prints have small grooves where bacteria can accumulate.
- Ideally, print the lid in a food-safe material.
- Clean the lid thoroughly by hand regularly (not suitable for dishwashers if printed from PLA!).
- I recommend using the lid in a way that it does not directly touch the contents (as a protective cover).
