Froakie, a bubble frog Pokémon that appears in the handheld game series "Pokémon" released by Nintendo of Japan, first appeared in the sixth-generation game "Pokémon X/Y". This Pokémon is a quadrupedal frog with light blue skin and dark blue head stripes, capable of releasing elastic bubbles called "Froakie Bubbles" from its chest and back to reduce damage. In 2023, its image appeared as archival footage in the short film "Slasher 15". Players can obtain this Pokémon from Tierno in Santalune City in "Pokémon X/Y", or trade for it with Shauna after completing the game.
