Description

Handlebar Sparrowhawk--

A wind-responsive sparrowhawk designed to perch on bicycle handlebars.

As you ride, airflow lifts the bird and lets it glide upward naturally. The motion is inspired by the shape and flight behavior of a Eurasian Sparrowhawk.

The bird is mounted on a free-moving pole system so you can adjust the angle for different riding speeds and airflow conditions.

Best results happen at higher speeds or downhill riding where airflow is strongest.

Tips:

  • Tilt the bird slightly upward for more lift
  • Tilt the bird slightly downward if leans back
  • Sand the pole for smoother movement and rub a pencil on it as dry lubricant
  • glue pole to bird and stopper, putting it through the stand. glue the stand to the bike attach bands.

enjoy!
