FoldApe4 GPS front mount

DarwinFPV FoldApe4 Front GPS Mount (GoPro Replacement)

This 3D printed mount is designed for the DarwinFPV FoldApe4 and replaces the unused front GoPro mount with a dedicated GPS mount to significantly improve GPS reception and satellite lock reliability.

One of the common issues with the stock FoldApe4 setup is poor GPS connectivity caused by antenna placement and obstruction from the frame and electronics. By relocating the GPS module to the very front of the quad, this design provides a clearer view of the sky and noticeably better GPS performance during arming, rescue mode, and long-range flights.

I originally tried several existing community mounts, but none properly supported the square-style GPS module included with my setup. Most available designs were made for narrower or rectangular GPS units, resulting in poor fitment or insecure mounting. Because of that, I designed this custom solution specifically to accommodate square GPS modules while integrating cleanly with the FoldApe4 frame.
