Michael Jackson - We Are The World - Lithophane

This lithophane is an artistic portrait inspired by Michael Jackson, crafted as faithfully as possible to his look in the famous "We Are the World" music video.

The image comes to life thanks to the light filtering through the print: thinner areas allow more light to pass through, while thicker areas create shadows and depth, giving the face a suggestive, almost photographic effect.

Michael appears in his elegant and recognizable style: a black, stage-cut jacket embellished with gold embroidery, with an almost regal feel, perfectly reflecting his unique and charismatic persona, and wearing sunglasses.

The song "We Are the World" was created in 1985 as a charity project by USA for Africa, with the aim of raising funds and awareness for the severe famine in Ethiopia. The song was written by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie and produced by Quincy Jones, bringing together over forty major artists of the time in the studio for a single night of recording. 

Michael Jackson, known as the "King of Pop," was one of the most influential artists in music history. With songs like "Thriller," "Billie Jean," "Beat It," and "Smooth Criminal," he revolutionized the world of pop, dance, and music videos.

This lithophane isn't just a decorative object, but a small, luminous tribute to a music legend and one of his most iconic videos.

 The lithophane, once printed, will be black and white. If you'd like it to appear in color when lit, print the attached PDF file with a standard printer and apply some glue to the back of the lithophane.
