Description
The Renault FT-17 tank was a light tank developed by the French Renault company in 1917, the first to feature a 360-degree rotating turret. Its layout with a rear-mounted engine compartment and front-mounted driver's seat became the basis for modern tank design. The tank had a combat weight of 7 tons and a maximum speed of about 10 kilometers per hour.
