The Zhoushan Archipelago is located in the northeast of Zhejiang Province, China. It is a group of islands situated on the East China Sea, south of the Yangtze River estuary and on the outer edge of Hangzhou Bay. Spanning between 121°30′~123°25′ E and 29°32′~31°04′ N, it is 182 kilometers long from east to west and 169 kilometers wide from north to south, making it China's largest archipelago.

The Zhoushan Archipelago accounts for 20% of China's total islands, with a sea area of 22,000 square kilometers and a land area of 1,371 square kilometers. Among them, 58 islands are larger than 1 square kilometer, accounting for 96.9% of the archipelago's total area. The main islands include Zhoushan Island, Qushan Island, Liuheng Island, Daishan Island, Zhujiajian Island, Putuo Mountain Island, Jintang Island, Sijiao Island, Shengshan Island, and others.

The main island and administrative center of the Zhoushan Archipelago is Zhoushan Island, which is also China's fourth-largest island.

The topographic data for this model comes from Touch Terrain's open-source data. To maintain a more aesthetically pleasing mountain-sea archipelago proportion, I chose the map of Daishan Island and the islands south of it. I apologize to friends in Shengsi County and Qushan for this.
