Description

Hello,

This is more of a niche project than I normally post, but this was requested and I figure this may be useful for other people as my research online yielded there are not many options for extended hammer spurs for the CVA Scout. There are 4 different textures included in the pack, the one with knobs which is pictured, one that is knurled, one that is grooved which matches the factory hammer spur, and one that has horizontal grooves.

To make this functional, I drilled and tapped the OEM hammer extension for a #8-32 Socket Head Cap Screw, and inserted the bolt into the plastic piece, then screwed the bolt into the OEM extension, and screwed the OEM extension back into the hammer. The OEM extension is NOT a standard thread, and I could not find any bolts that matched that thread, so be careful not to damage that. You should be able to drill it easily by hand, and then with any #8-32 tap from your local hardware store you should be able to put in a good enough thread to make this extension work. If you need any help, please feel free to send me a message.

Everything I make is exclusive to Makerworld, so if you see my designs other places, please notify me ASAP, thank you!
