This onigiri storage container is a simple print designed for organizing your desk or keeping small spare parts together. The design takes advantage of the slicer fuzzy skin feature to give the outer walls a realistic rice texture while hiding layer lines perfectly. It prints in separate pieces including a flat section for the seaweed detail so you do not need a multi color setup to get the classic dual color look. It works perfectly for holding sd cards spare nozzles screws or just acting as a fun display piece on your shelf.
I modeled the top and base with enough tolerance to easily slide together right off the build plate without sanding or heavy post processing. You can scale the model up if you need a larger stash box for bigger tools but scaling down might make the fit a bit too tight depending on your specific printer calibration.
