Bear head miniature paint cap toppers
Print Profile(1)

Description
I created these bottle cap toppers basing on the great model from @lagalerylab and with his permission.
The original model is here: https://makerworld.com/pl/models/2047229-figurine-32-mm-ours-viking-dnd#profileId-2414152
If you decide to boost me (thank you) please visit his page as well, check the miniatures he's designing and leave a boost there as well!
The .3mf file includes toppers for all major brands I own, each on a separate plate:
- Citadel
- Vallejo (old 17ml and new 18ml)
- Army Painter
- GreenStuffWorld
- Scale75 (two types)
- AK Interactive
- Two Thin Coats
and there is a chance these will fit also other more generic brands.
I printed these on a Bambu Lab P2S with SUNLU matte white filament and based with white spray before painting.
Recommended print settings are in the .3mf file, if you are using a different printer use these:
- nozzle: 0.2mm
- layer height: 0.08mm
- wall generator: Arachne
- wall loops: 2
- infill 8% (can probably go down even more)
- infill type: Rectilinear (I haven't tried Lightning but I imagine it will work as well)
- support type - for most of the models - Tree Slim
- support type - for Citadel and AK Interactive model - Tree Hybrid (works a bit better for the center element)
Supports with the above settings come off with no problems - check one of the pictures. Trick to removing them is to pull the head gently upward from the plate. The most fragile element are the bear's fangs but with the Tree Slim supports and gently pulling upward I almost never had an issue with the fangs not separating from the support.
The Citadel toppers don't need any glue - they snap directly onto the jar lid. Other toppers I was gluing on with a dab of UHU glue around the edge - my reasoning was that if I want to remove them that glue comes off quite well from the caps leaving no mark. You can of course use also Cyanoacrylate glue or whatever else.
I hope you enjoy these as much as I do.
