Description
Rod Storage Delete Plate – Hobie Pro Angler 14 (MKR-28 Ready)
Purpose-built delete plate to replace the factory rod storage opening on the Hobie Pro Angler 14 and provide a clean, secure mounting point for a Minn Kota MKR-28 quick connector.
Designed to sit flush with the kayak surface, it reuses the factory mounting pattern for a straightforward install. The centered cutout and hole layout match the MKR-28 footprint, delivering a tight, stable fit while keeping wiring protected and cleanly routed into the hull.
Includes a dedicated gasket model—print it in TPU to create a reliable seal between the plate and the kayak, helping prevent water intrusion and reduce vibration.
Ideal for PA14 setups running a Minn Kota trolling motor where a low-profile, permanent solution is preferred over exposed wiring or temporary installs.
Notes:
- Can be installed on either side (port or starboard)
- Plate: print in a weather-resistant material (ABS or ASA recommended)
- Gasket: print in TPU (flexible)
- Designed specifically for the Hobie Pro Angler 14 rod storage opening
- Reuses factory screws to mount the plate
- Use M5x12mm stainless steel screws to mount the connector
